Common Causes of C-70 / C-71 / C-72
- Steam sensor fouled by grease or built-up moisture

🔧 One Safe Check You Can Try
Power the microwave off for about 60 seconds and make sure the vent and sensor area are free of grease or moisture before restarting. If C-70, C-71 or C-72 returns after a dry restart, the steam sensor needs testing.

- The steam sensor and its wiring are built into the vent housing beside the magnetron circuit, and that assembly is opened by a technician.
