What C-d0 / C-d1 / C-d2 Means
C-d0, C-d1 and C-d2 are the door or key error group on Samsung’s US microwave article, covering the door switches and the keypad reading tied to them.
Common Causes of C-d0 / C-d1 / C-d2
- Door not latching fully or something caught in the door seal
- Door switch worn or misaligned
- Keypad ribbon connector problem tied to the door circuit
🔧 One Safe Check You Can Try
Open and close the door firmly and check nothing is caught in the seal or the latch. Power the microwave off for about 60 seconds, then restart and test. If C-d0, C-d1 or C-d2 returns with the door closing cleanly, the door switch assembly needs testing.
⚠ Why You Shouldn't Go Further Than That
- Microwave door switches are part of the interlock that keeps the magnetron from running with the door open, and testing that circuit safely is a technician job with the capacitor discharged.
