What E-01 Means
E-01 is the open error on Samsung’s US microwave article - an open circuit detected in one of the microwave’s monitored parts.

Power the microwave off for about 60 seconds and restart. Samsung’s article does not name a further owner step for E-01, so a code that returns after the reset needs a technician’s diagnosis.
⚠ Why You Shouldn't Go Further Than That
- Finding which circuit is open means testing parts near the magnetron and its high-voltage capacitor, which a technician does with the unit safely discharged.
