- Swing heater motor failed or jammed
- Position switch on the swing heater not registering
🔧 One Safe Check You Can Try
Power the microwave off for about 60 seconds and restart, then run a short grill or convection test. If E-06 returns, the swing heater motor or its position switch needs testing.
⚠ Why You Shouldn't Go Further Than That
- The swing heater sits inside the cavity roof beside the magnetron circuit, and reaching it is a technician job with the unit safely discharged.
