What BC2 Means
BC2 is the incorrect button state code on Samsung’s WD90F53AVS/US Laundry Combo service manual: a button on the control panel is reading as still pressed in.
Common Causes of BC2
- A control button mechanically stuck
- Liquid or residue on the control panel holding a button
🔧 One Safe Check You Can Try
Turn the Laundry Combo off, then back on after two to three minutes, and try again. Check that nothing — a magnet, a sticker, or spilled liquid — is resting on or holding down a control button.
⚠ Why You Shouldn't Go Further Than That
- If a dry, clear panel still shows BC2, the control panel itself needs a technician’s test.
Opening a panel to inspect or repair something yourself doesn't automatically cancel your manufacturer's warranty — but it can risk accidental damage, and some manufacturers do have specific service conditions. Check your product's warranty terms, or ask us, before deciding.
