What DC6 Means
DC6 is the Auto Open Door code on Samsung’s WD90F53AVS/US Laundry Combo service manual: the door’s automatic-open feature is not working correctly. Samsung’s manual notes that turning the power off will open the door, and that Auto Open Door needs Lock and Smart Control turned off in the SmartThings app to operate.

- Auto Open Door motor or sensor problem
🔧 One Safe Check You Can Try
If you need the door open right away, turn the power off, which releases it. In the SmartThings app, check that Lock and Smart Control are turned off, since Auto Open Door will not run while they are on. Turn the Laundry Combo off, wait two to three minutes, and turn it back on before trying again.
