What NC Means
NC is the filter code on Samsung’s WD90F53AVS/US Laundry Combo service manual: the control cannot confirm the drain or condenser filter is seated correctly.
Common Causes of NC
- Filter not fully seated
- Filter housing damaged or warped
🔧 One Safe Check You Can Try
Check that the filter is inserted all the way and seated correctly, then tap Start to restart. If NC continues, turn the Laundry Combo off, wait two to three minutes, and turn it back on before trying again.
⚠ Why You Shouldn't Go Further Than That
- If the filter is seated correctly and NC still will not clear, the filter sensor needs a technician’s test.
