Samsung codes look simpler than they are. On washers and dryers one problem can appear in two spellings, an E version and a C version, depending on the model. The same characters then turn up on a dishwasher meaning something else entirely, and a C-code on a range is not the same C-code on a microwave. Read against the wrong appliance line, a code points confidently at the wrong part.
Several of the displays people call about are not problems at all: a vent-test result on a dryer, a demo mode left on a showroom refrigerator or range, a child lock, a suds warning. We would rather tell you that on the phone. Where it is a real problem, the part is tested before it is replaced, and you hear the reasoning and the price before any part is ordered.
