Because the ME16A4021 hangs over a cooktop it does two jobs, and its parts list is longer than a countertop unit’s: a vent fan, a cooktop light, a grease filter and a heat sensor that starts the fan on its own sit alongside the magnetron, transformer, capacitor, diode and door switches.
Samsung’s microwave codes on the ME16A4021 share their C- numbering with its ranges but not their meanings – C-10 to C-12 here are the gas sensor, C-20 to C-22 the temperature sensor, C-d0 to C-d2 the door or a key, C-F0 to C-F2 communication – and Samsung’s first instruction for all of them is the same: power off for a minute, let a wet panel dry, then call if the code returns.
