The AR12DXKAPWKN is Samsung’s WindFree IAQ 12,000 BTU/h single-zone wall-mount indoor unit with air-quality filtration. The AR12DXKAPWKN is the indoor half of a single-zone ductless system: an evaporator coil, a blower wheel, a condensate pan and drain, and a control board that talks to the outdoor unit over a cable run through the wall, all behind one wall-mounted cabinet.
With the AR12DXKAPWKN switched off at its disconnect and the refrigerant lines left undisturbed, the filter is washed, the drain path is checked for a slow or blocked condensate line, and the indoor and outdoor units are matched against each other before any refrigerant work is considered – that side of the repair needs a technician equipped for refrigerant handling.
