What LC Means
LC is the water leakage code on Samsung’s WD53DBA900H-series Bespoke AI Laundry Combo service manual: the leak sensor in the base of the cabinet has detected water where there should be none, the same idea as the leak group on Samsung’s standalone washers.
Common Causes of LC
- Water on the base pan from a hose, gasket or pump seal
- Excess suds reaching the leak sensor
- Leak sensor itself giving a false reading
🔧 One Safe Check You Can Try
With the water taps closed and the Laundry Combo switched off at the wall, look behind and beneath it for drips at the hose connections and check that neither hose is kinked. With the machine empty and no detergent added, run a rinse cycle and watch for suds, since over-sudsing can trigger the same sensor; if foam appears, repeat the empty cycle until it clears. A code that returns with a dry floor and clear water is an internal leak or a sensor problem, and that means opening the cabinet, a technician’s job.
