What PC Means
PC is the Zone Wash error on Samsung’s US dishwasher article: the mechanism that directs water to one rack only is not operating as expected. Samsung’s step is to turn the dishwasher off and try to start the cycle again. On a Samsung washer PC means the clutch position, an unrelated part.

🔧 One Safe Check You Can Try
Turn the dishwasher off, wait a moment and start again, choosing a cycle without the Zone Wash option. If the dishwasher then completes normally, the zone diverter is the problem and the machine can be used without that option until it is repaired. If PC returns regardless of the option, Samsung directs owners to service.

- The diverter is in the sump under the tub, reached with the dishwasher out and the base open.
