What C3 / C4 Means
C3 and C4 are the sensor-problem codes in the Information Codes table of Samsung’s NZ30K7570 induction cooktop manual: one of the cooktop’s temperature sensors is not reading correctly.
Common Causes of C3 / C4
- Temperature sensor reading out of range
- Main control board sensor circuit problem
🔧 One Safe Check You Can Try
Turn the cooktop off, then disconnect power at the cord or breaker for at least 30 seconds before reconnecting. Restart and test again. Because a cooktop sensor limits surface and pan temperature, do not keep cooking on it through repeated C3 or C4 codes — book a technician if the code returns.
⚠ Why You Shouldn't Go Further Than That
- Testing the sensor circuit means opening the cooktop’s control housing next to line-voltage wiring, which is a job for a technician.
