What UB Means
UB is the unbalanced-load code on Samsung’s WD90F53AVS/US Laundry Combo service manual: the spin step cannot proceed properly because there is not enough laundry in the drum or the load has shifted unevenly.
Common Causes of UB
- Load too small to balance for spin
- Laundry bunched to one side of the drum
🔧 One Safe Check You Can Try
Open the door and redistribute the laundry evenly around the drum, adding a few more items if the load is small, then tap Start to restart. If UB continues, turn the Laundry Combo off, wait two to three minutes, and turn it back on before trying again.
⚠ Why You Shouldn't Go Further Than That
- There is nothing to open here; if redistributing the load does not stop UB on repeat cycles, the drum suspension or balance sensor needs a technician’s look.
