With the circuit to the DVE41A3000 isolated and the drum cool, the exhaust path is checked before any electrical part is measured, because restricted airflow gives the same complaint as a failed part; only then do the thermistor, thermostats, element or burner, motor, belt and rollers get tested in the order the sign suggests.
