What TCH Means
TCH is the control panel’s own temperature and humidity sensor error on Samsung’s WD53DBA900H-series Bespoke AI Laundry Combo service manual: the sensor mounted on the side of the panel is reading a resistance too low or too high, separate from the drying-air thermistors covered by tC.
Common Causes of TCH
- Panel sensor reading out of range
- Loose connector at the panel sensor
🔧 One Safe Check You Can Try
Turn the Laundry Combo off, wait two to three minutes, and turn it back on before restarting. If TCH returns, Samsung’s instruction is service; the panel sensor is tested and replaced with the panel open.

- The sensor is built into the control panel assembly, and testing it means opening the panel.
