What 3C / 3C2 / 3C3 / 3C4 Means
3C, 3C2, 3C3 and 3C4 are the wash motor error group on Samsung’s WD53DBA900H-series Bespoke AI Laundry Combo service manual: the drive motor is not turning as the control expects, whether from the motor itself, its connection, the drive belt, or the inverter board driving it. 3C1, which Samsung’s manual gives a distinct meaning, has its own entry.
Common Causes of 3C / 3C2 / 3C3 / 3C4
- Drum overloaded or jammed by an object between drum and tub
- Motor or its connection problem
- Drive belt connection incorrect
- Inverter board not driving the motor as expected
🔧 One Safe Check You Can Try
Turn the Laundry Combo off, wait two to three minutes, and restart the cycle. Check that the load is not so heavy the drum cannot turn freely and that nothing has wedged between the drum and the tub. If the code returns, Samsung’s instruction is service; the motor, its belt and the inverter board are tested with the cabinet open.
