What 9C1 / 9C2 Means
9C1 and 9C2 are voltage errors on Samsung’s WD53DBA900H-series Bespoke AI Laundry Combo service manual: the voltage supplied to the machine is either too low or too high for it to run correctly, the same kind of installation problem as the voltage codes on Samsung’s standalone washers and dryers.
Common Causes of 9C1 / 9C2
- Extension cord or overloaded shared circuit
- Momentary low voltage on a long circuit run
- Inverter board problem (sometimes)
🔧 One Safe Check You Can Try
Check that the Laundry Combo has its own outlet and is not on an extension cord or a shared circuit, and that no breaker has half-tripped. If the connecting wire run is long, a momentary low voltage on that circuit can be enough to trigger this code. If the outlet and circuit are sound and 9C1 or 9C2 returns, Samsung’s instruction is service.

- Confirming supply voltage at the outlet with the machine running, and telling that apart from an inverter board problem, is a technician’s measurement.
