What OF OF Means
On Samsung’s upright convertible freezer, OF OF or O FF on the panel means Cooling Off mode, the showroom setting that Samsung’s US article says switches off cooling while leaving the display and lights working. Samsung states that service is not required, and gives the upright convertible cabinet its own exit sequence: hold Temp, Power Freeze and Lock together for five seconds.

🔧 One Safe Check You Can Try
On the freezer’s panel, press and hold the Temp, Power Freeze and Lock buttons at the same time for about five seconds, then release and watch for the temperature readout to return. Give the cabinet a few hours to pull down before judging whether it is cooling. If the buttons on your panel are labeled differently, the owner’s manual for the model gives its combination.
