What Cb / C6 Means
Cb or C6 means the washer is in calibration mode, which Samsung’s US article describes as a recalibration of the weight detection that sets the water amount for each cycle, normally run after installation. The drum turns back and forth for one to three minutes and stops by itself, and Samsung stresses that calibration only works with the machine empty.
Common Causes of Cb / C6
- Calibration started after installation or by a button combination
- Calibration run with laundry in the drum
🔧 One Safe Check You Can Try
If the drum is empty, let the calibration finish; it ends on its own. If there was laundry inside when Cb appeared, take it out and run calibration again from the panel following the installation guide or manual for the model, because a load in the drum makes the calibration wrong rather than merely incomplete. It is also worth running after moving the washer or after a suspension repair.
