What DC Means
DC is the door-open code on Samsung’s WD90F53AVS/US Laundry Combo service manual: the door is not closed. On a standalone Samsung washer or dryer the similar-looking dC is a different, lowercase-led code in that appliance’s own door-error group; this DC is the combo’s own simple door-open check.

- Door not fully closed
- Laundry item caught in the door seal
