DV5000HA is an older Samsung dryer. No longer part of Samsung’s current model lineup.
One of the more common reasons this model needs service is the door not staying closed during operation. Unplug the dryer, and shut off the gas supply first on a gas model, before removing any panel. Given its age, we check part availability before starting work, so there are no surprises partway through the repair.
