What AC3 / AC4 / AC5 / AC6 Means
AC3, AC4, AC5 and AC6 refine the general AC communication error on Samsung’s WD53DBA900H-series Bespoke AI Laundry Combo service manual: each number names a specific module that has lost contact with the main board — AC3 the DR module, AC4 the Wi-Fi module, AC5 the LCD display module, and AC6 the inverter board that drives the heat pump compressor and the wash motor.

- Connector between the named module and the main board loose
- The named module itself failed
- Poor soldering on the module’s own board

🔧 One Safe Check You Can Try
Turn the Laundry Combo off, wait two to three minutes, and turn it back on before trying again. Since AC4 points at the Wi-Fi module, the machine may still wash and dry normally while only the SmartThings connection is affected; the other three numbers point at modules closer to running the machine itself, so do not expect the same tolerance from AC3, AC5 or AC6. If any of the four return, Samsung’s instruction is service.
