Samsung named this dryer the DV400EWHDWR. An earlier model, no longer in Samsung’s current lineup.
One of the more common reasons this model needs service is the dryer taking much longer than usual to finish a load. Unplug the dryer, and shut off the gas supply first on a gas model, before removing any panel. Given its age, we check part availability before starting work, so there are no surprises partway through the repair.
